The Aquariums of Arkansas Children's Hospital
Arkansas Children's Hospital is one of America's top children's hospitals and home to some of the brightest physicians in their fields. It is also home to 16 of the coolest aquariums that provide entertainment and a soothing atmosphere to patients and parents alike.
When you enter the front lobby of the hospital
you are greeted by two 250 gallon aquariums on
either
side of the entrance. These tanks contain fish that are native to
Arkansas, such as bass, bluegill, & catfish. These tanks were both
custom built and are made from acrylic panels that are 1" thick.
